The former Chief Minister of the composite Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, has announced his candidacy for the Rajampet Lok Sabha seat. Joining him in the electoral fray is BJP Andhra Pradesh State president Daggubati Purandeswari, who will be contesting from the Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha seat. Additionally, Kothapalli Geeta and Bhupatiraju Srinivasa Varma will be vying for the Araku (ST) and Narsapuram Lok Sabha seats, respectively.

C.M. Ramesh, having switched allegiance from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to BJP after the 2019 elections, will be contesting from the Anakapalli Lok Sabha seat. Meanwhile, Velagapalli Vara Prasad Rao, who previously won from the Tirupati constituency on a YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) ticket in 2014 before serving as YSRCP’s Gudur MLA, is set to contest from Tirupati once again.

In a similar vein, BJP A.P. office-bearer Srinivasa Varma will be vying for the Narsapuram Lok Sabha seat. Notably, the current Narsapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju, who clinched victory on a YSRCP ticket in 2019, had expressed hopes of being fielded as a candidate by either the TDP, BJP, or JSP. However, he refrained from joining any of these parties, though he did address a TDP-JSP meeting at Tadepalligudem.
